Open the app and go to the Edges tab. Tap Global Layout at the top, locate the Orientation dropdown, and choose Both. You can also customize individual edge zones by tapping on an edge card, opening Layout / Size & Position, and setting its Orientation to Both or Landscape.
Go to the Settings tab, open Controls, and tap Pause Rules. Select Pause on selected apps (Pro), check your game from the installed apps list, and choose which edges to pause (All, Left, Right, Notch, or Bottom). When you launch your game, edge gestures will pause automatically so they do not interfere with gaming controls.
Accessibility services have access to view screen interactions to dispatch gestures. To provide complete peace of mind, One Hand Control does not declare the android.permission.INTERNET permission in its Android manifest. The app cannot physically send your data or preferences to any server.
Aggressive OEM battery savers (especially on Samsung, Xiaomi/HyperOS, OnePlus, and Vivo) sometimes kill background accessibility services. Open One Hand Control and go to the Overview tab. Tap Has the app suddenly stopped working? to view manufacturer-specific instructions for locking the app in recents and setting battery usage to Unrestricted.
